Hi im growing white dwarf and they are 3 days from the 2 month, trics are milky and hairs are reddish, should i harvest and also can I cut down part of a plant or does it all need to be done in one day?
 
Give me 5 mins but please keep up the advice, does hole plant need done at once? im growing in an nft system.
 
cant get pics as cam not working but can anyone say if i can harvest a few branches and waut ubtill tomorrow for the rest?
 
You can take the ripest buds now if you want. You should try and cure whatever you do. Remember, smaller pieces dry faster. The more stick you leave, the slower it'll dry.
 
thanks c5rftw, still not sure about the cutting part of the plant down and also what temp i should be drying at, i have an attic that is cool to cold that i couls set up a fan and hang them.... is this ok or do i need heat to dry them?
 
thanks again. just looked at a a sensor i placed yesterday, its 61f - 74f so not sure if this is ant good
 
yah but could backfire if it generated a lot of heat, if your close to harvest, then i would just let things be
 
make sure to harvest after at least 12 hours of dark to keep the grow juice in the roots and not in your buds. people often mistake the harsh taste in buds for not "flushing" properly when it simply wasn't harvested correctly.
 
Cool, didn know that, ill just keep there light off the day im harvesting. Should i also keep the pump off so they dont get water? Been told so much stuff, one says no water other sais keep watering.
 
right now thinking of drying in a large polystyrene box i have (see pics), do you think this would work if i put a pc fan on it? would it be better on the side or top and should if extract (out) or blow (in)

you can water if you want but since you are just going to harvest them within the next 12-72 hours then i don't see the point. sounds like one of those "preference" things i keep hearing about.

Once I decide that im going to harvest a plant, I pull it out of the greenroom and put it in the dark until i get around to it.
