I'm not talking about a $300 one from the big box stores. I'm talking commercial or industrial strength here. I have a few in mind, but I wanted to check here first. Does anyone have a kick-ass dehumidifier that they'd recommend?

How much space are you talking about???? I have a pretty good one, I got on craigs list for 1/3 the price. I just run the drain directly out of the machine, into a lower drain. Works like a charm.

Yeah, I purchased this one and it's a beast:

It can pull out almost 13 gallons of water from the air every 24 hours and will work up to 25 gallons per day under very humid conditions. Where my LG ran 24/7 and had trouble maintaining 68% humidity, this beast hardly ever runs and I'm at 55% all day long. I'd highly recommend it.

right on I'll check it out
found a bunch of cheap LGs but looked on their website and all of their shit is discontinued
did more research and found their stuff to be sub par.

I actually have that one booked marked.
I looked at this one and a couple other high end ones
That might be over kill for my space to begin with but something maybe worth the while down the road
how big of a space are you running?

Residential grade dehumidifiers are really inefficient and actually kick out a lot of hot air. So my LG that I was using was not only ineffective at lowering humidity to a desirable range, but it would also increase temps by almost 10*. Anyways, I wasn't shopping on square footage but the ability to pull water out of the air efficiently. The one I bought had great reviews and is just a beast, excellent purchase. If you've purchased a residential grade dehumidifier and it's not cutting it, I would highly suggest a commercial grade unit from the company I bought from.
