I need a little bit of help

Hi guys, I'm new to growing under L.E.D's, I'm just wondering if I should keep my oil radiator in the tent or outside of the tent, should I start my L.E.D as high as possible and turn it up over the weeks? or do I want it close to my plants? I'm a little confused, Do I need to get it dialed in at 28c (82f) with my oil radiator and my inkbird temperature controller when they are seedlings or should I start them at a lower temperature of say 25c (77f) and build it up? I'm a old school HPS user so I'm new to all of this L.E.D stuff and gadgets, how high do you guys run your l.e.d when they are seedlings? and what kind of temps are you running for seedlings? It's a bit scary owning a cheap hps bulb for years and then owning a $1,000 dollar light

I run 2-100w led each at 50% and at about 20-26" away. I do turn it up little by little, week by week aiming to be at a full 200w by veg stage. During veg I run 16"-20" away. First run for flower under led so I can't say for sure but my manufacturer suggests a lower height of 12"-16" during flower. 16" seems to be working best with that wattage for me.

I run at about 80F during seedling, veg and the beginning of flower and I am planning on reducing temp to 75F by mid flower.

Seedling RH anything above 50% is okay, 70-80% is best until the first single blade matures and I drop RH down to 60-65%. Slowly reducing RH during veg aiming for 55% RH before light flip.

The reason I am reducing the temp is personal choice and reducing temp from 80f to 75f also keeps vpd in check with a lower RH.

I'm sure others will chime in on flowering suggestions.

Which light did you get Harry? When you first start with an LED play it conservative with the distance, you'll be surprised how easily you can burn leaves with it. Do you have a lux or par meter? They can help a lot dialing in distance. If you plan on starting seedlings under a big/powerful led, you'll need to dial it way down and raise it way up. It's easier for me to sprout and veg for a while under a smaller light. It might take a few grows to dial it in, just be careful and observe your top leaves for signs of damage, and back it off a bit as soon as you see any.

^^^100% agree. Big ol' fat light needs a different opinion than mine. I've never used more than the 200w I have. I would like to, but cannot afford it.

They aren't the most accurate, but a $15 lux meter can be very helpful imo.

I've got the Lumatek Zeus pro 465w in a 4x4 tent and nah I don't have a lux or par meter dude. And thanks I will keep it as high as possible on 25% and then go from there

Forgot to mention, it's said the Photone app for iPhone is pretty good, the android version needs work.

I got the app, it's really good. I purchased the full spectrum l.e.d version and I've made a paper diffuser for it
