I made a T5 stand

I made a stand for a 4' F54 T5 HO out of 1/1/4 pvc pipe, my box with 10 clf's was getting a little too hot, it works killer in winter, so I went with a T5 to start some seedlings and some clones later on to put in my greenhouse DSC00008.jpgDSC00011.jpgDSC00012.jpg

Very cool I love making shit out of pvc. I bought a clothes rack at lowes for this same thing. I can lower and raise it etc but this works for sure.

update I doubled up,I mounted a second T5 to the other one, now pumping out two 4' F54 T5 HO DSC00002.jpg

Have you investigated the T5 threads here? Aquarium bulbs rock, but a hq 6500 is fine for vegging too

I updated my T5 stand once again know it's alot more stable and there is 5 feet of growing height, and on those pipe stubs on the sides I can now add a single double tube F54 T5 HO 4ft light fixture to each side, eventually I'm going to pipe in the top of the frame so I can make the side lighting more adjustable with rope ratchets, and try to flower with side lighting of T5, and maybe next run veg with side lighting.DSC00001.jpgDSC00002.jpgDSC00003.jpgDSC00004.jpg

That's a fckng huge fixture 4 a T5!!! Attach a few slimmer T5's to a board, and attach the chains to the board. More light, no big changes.

That's a sweet stand man. I built kind of the same thing, but with leftover 2x2's. And a small piece of plywood. It's 2 levels and has a 4ft 8 lamp T5 up top. And a 2ft 4 lamp T5 underneath. It's not as tall as yours though.

Not the best pic but you get the idea.
