my buddy and i went to a cannabis club yesterday. it's fairly new. i've been once prior. they had some really good meds. my buddy had a 1/4 lb of his indoor high grade left out of a few lbs. he was trying to dump it real quick for a cheap price. so i told him i'd go over there with him. i wanted to purchase an 1/8th of some fine meds.

so we get there and i wait with my buddy while the process his membership. we go into the dispensary and are given the welcome tour. i start to look at the meds while my buddy explains to the guy that he was interested in "vending". the guy tells my buddy that they only do vending on tues and wed and there is a 2 week waiting list. then he goes on with this big thing about the "relationship between the plant and the grower". they want to interview the grower to make sure it was grown with "the love and care" that meets their standards. my buddy said "Oh".

so then the guy turns to me and says "did you find anything you like?" i said "i'm good, thanks".

then we left.

Sounds like the guys a kook, but how was the quality of his product? If it was superior, there might be something to his BS.

It's sounds so strange that there are places like this in the US. It makes me think of Half Baked. So basically what your saying is this place will buy weed from growers in order to give out as meds? Did you buy that 1/8 you wanted? What flavor did you get.

yea he sounds like someone that needs to take a walk in the real world......he's in la la land.. the quality of the meds you grow should be enough to make a decision weather he wants to purchase or not..

Shweeeet! It doesn't sound like it stifles the black market, merely supports/grows it. I was thinking the opposite.

i just wasn't feeling love from any of it. it all looked really good but i felt i would just be using it for my own satisfaction. i couldn't bear the guilt of treating it that way. i figured it would be best to go to one who truly appreciated the love it had to offer. i just wanted to get baked.:mrgreen::blsmoke:

the clubs ive gone to in Sac always have shitty weed, theyre known strains and everything but i think and ive heard that they do something to it b4 they sell it in order to make kief, hash etc., but im not sure if thats true or not...all i know is that their bud is ok but not good imo

there are a couple clubs here that specialize in "ratty" weed. apparently there is some sort of market for it. i can get a $60 1/8th or a $25 dollar 1/8th. depends on what i want. from what i see a lot of the cheap stuff sells.

yeah ALOT!!! Most ppl say that the club weed is the best there is, i dont agree...i still haven't smoked an 8th from the club thats worth 60 dollars in quality yet

I would think that club guy's opinion was weird, were it not that I've spent many a time catching myself looking at my plants and smiling.
All the same, I do think he should've just a bowl of it and given it the college try.

i feel the whole "love thing" pretty much goes without saying. people often tell me they can tell my buds were grown with love. these are reports i get back from people i don't even know. no need for interviews.

"so fdd, we have reports of you yelling at your plants for getting mites. that's not acceptable."

its like if you hire a caterer you might wanna see his kitchen first, i mean anyone can make meatloaf:mrgreen:

so if this guy is that strict then his buds must be preemo,

I see a lot of guys at work who are perfectionists and you know if you asked for somthing they would never forget or let you down. those are the kinda of people you wanna hire, imho, not people like me:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:
