From what I hear Southern Oregon outdoor plants get huge, and this time of year people have to give it away.
this is very true, we get huge plants here, people think cali is the shit for growing, they should come to southern oregon.
and ya weed is every where.

The coast is fine as long as you have a strain that ends by the first week in October. Exodus Cheese performs well, I'm central coast.

also, you can get a small place for 650-750/mo with a decent sized lot for some privacy. I have over 25 acres in the coast range.

A lot of the folks that I knew in Brookings were up the Chetco, which the weather is nicer once you get a few miles inland, upriver. Sun is out, and that fog is gone in a couple mile drive.

If you can get 5 miles up river then you are good to go. I drove inland from the coast on a foggy Fall day and found out where the fog line was for my area, then that's where I ought my property. I look at the fog bank from my windows, it's about 3 miles away and only comes in really early in the morning.

I love Oregon, you just need to be able to adapt well.

Iv lived in both southern Oregon (my screen name stands for Southern Oregon Organic) and Bay area Cali. i have to say, Cali has more variety, but dollar for dollar Oregon can NOT be beat. I have family that has there OMMP cards and they laugh uncontrollably when i tell them how much i pay for my "meds" here in San Francisco . I am truly jealous of you Oregon folks. You guys have the system Down!

well i finally get to get my hands dirty. my grower needs help trimming as all of his buddies want to be paid in cash and smoke it all up. i told him at the beginning if he needs help trimming i would come and help for free, so i am going out to do some trimming on some monster plants. i will also be picking up a lil bit of my meds that are owed

Oregon in general is such a beautiful place! When I was driving through a few months ago was the first time I'd ever been and could easily end up there down the road. They really seem to give a hoot about nature and preserving what they've got, plus some bomb green comes from up there. Cheers to Oregon!
