I left my lights on over night during flowering...consequences?

I’m hoping since it was just one night the girls won’t notice. I was rearranging my wiring setup and switch my timer to on instead of auto for some reason and forgot to switch back. Am I ok or is this going to mess things up somehow?

It's very possible that you're fine, i've done it, a lot, just don't make it habit bongsmilie
Ok great, that’s what I was hoping to hear because this particular crop has been doing absolutely fantastic compared to others at the same stage and it would just suck if I failed them by making a bonehead mistake lol. I’ve never done it before as I usually just set it and forget it when it comes to my timer. I don’t see it happening again so it’s definitely a load off

Thanks for the reassurance and good vibes guys. The best bud I’ve grown/smoked was raspberry cough and both of these strains have similar attributes to the raspberry cough so I’m super excited. They are already growing crystals which was just how the raspberry cough went and when I touch the plants I get a very sharp citrus/berry smell similar to the raspberry cough. I’ve been growing seriously for exactly a year now. Every crop has been better than the previous so I’m really excited. Btw I’ve planted around 15 nirvana seeds and every single one popped...very impressed with their seed stock.

Sorry to bug ya but since your question has already been answered I have one for you, I plan to mainline for my first grow, would you say that's too big a jump? Jw cuz I've burned so much info into my brain over a couple years I wanted to but couldn't grow. Ik it's all subjective until you actually get your hands dirty but I still feel fairly confident in proceeding, just wanted a firsthand opinion on this, nice looking plants btw :weed:

No problem dude, I would say wait until you’ve got a couple grows under your belt and you’ve already had practice training plants. I had several grows before attempting it and still snapped branches and made mistakes. Of course it sort of works out in the end anyway it’s just a bit technical and you want some first hand experience training plants beforehand. It also takes a lot more diligence in the first month from seed than I realized because everyday you have to adjust your training ties for at least a two weeks. It was a little annoying but it has definitely payed off because since I got the trained and mainlined it’s been pretty much hands off besides watering and pruning. I still have to adjust a limb here and there during flowering but nowhere near as much as my other non-mainlined plants. There’s no reason why you can’t do it but be prepared for frustration and mistakes. Good luck and I hope this helps you. Thanks for the compliment btw...they’re always appreciated lol

You'll be fine. Just don't hit the switch on your timer from auto to on to keep the light on a little longer to do something and then forget to put it back to auto. I did that once and didn't notice until all my plants started looking funny and growing single leafs from the buds. The entire crop was revegging. I only checked on the plants during lights on so I never realized they were staying on 24 hours. It had been on for a couple weeks. It was a drag. Ruined the entire crop. All I ended up with was a bunch of leafy crap. Didn't have the time or room to let them start budding again.

Thanks for the advice, lol as far as frequency they only 10 days from sprout and I must be poking my head in like 20 times a day the more time I get with them the better (perks of no social life). But yeah I figured as much cuz I was on the edge of whether I should or not, I'll probably just top once to get some extra colas rather than go crazy with it. And lst is practically a given but as long as I'm getting something better than au natűral. My goal is a pound minimum dunno if it's realistic but 1000w hid and no major mistakes seems like it'd be veeery possible, 5x5 doing 4 and 1 auto (for early smoke) but thanks again!

If it was a one time thing and for that short of a period it really shouldn't matter. If you're really concerned then you can shut the lights off and then manually turn them back on at the beginning of the next light cycle that would give you at least 12 hours of darkness.

I haven't mainlined but I thought I may give you an idea on weight vs size. A 3.5 x 4 ft full canopy 1 ft deep is approx. a pound. The trick is making the canopy.
