when your plant starts to flower do the leaves start to grow in miniture or is this some sort of illness maybe?

i do not understand what you mean
but if your talking about the leaves around the buds then yes

You'll still have the big fan leaves but will also have small bud leaves

its shit im losing fan leaves so quick they are turning yellow and dieing ive tried everything ive only got 4 big leaves left

the dwarf leafs do look cool dont they i had root rot on my dwc grow its been slowly taking hold but my soil baby is loving it second week in bud and she is bushing out
