I know it'll prolly die, just for future reference. Yellowing stunted seedling. PIX

Alright, I'm new to this growing thing, and I'm pretty sure this seedling is in this state because of over watering.

It has now been 5 days since it sprouted and it hasn't grown at all. When it sprouted the embryonic leaves were already in the yellowed state you see. They have not gotten more yellow since the day it sprouted.

Is it possible it sprouted with yellowing leaves because of over watered soil prior to sprouting?

Just wanted to see if I'm right about this being because of over watering so I do not make the same mistake in the future.

Should I just get rid of it or should I continue trying?

F.Y.I. My other seedlings are thriving and doing well.

The first set of real leaves have been there since day 2, but they haven't grown at all. I found it weird that the leaves are still green and healthy looking but the growth is stunted. I have a seedling that sprouted days after this one and is much much bigger. LOL... every time I see this sprout I just can't help but go "awwww".

Some of the most amazing things come from things that people scoff at. We'll see what happens. Anyone know why this might have happened tho?

Stick with it, the new growth looks healthy. How far away are the lights from the plants and what kind of lights are you using? Very important info!

LOL... no its not mulch, its that MG organic... i kno i kno. Pickin up some black gold organic for the transplant... it's under a 42 watt cfl, its about an inch and a half from the plant.. my other seedlings are in the same environment and thriving.

I've tried bribing them, but apparently it isn't a cannibal and doesn't want a bag of weed... LOL.. I'd offer it the cash, but I spent that..

super thrive it. yo can get a small amount for less than $10.00. 1 drop per gallon of water, and recommended for light misting. At least thats what the old man says. Lol VV
