Check those things out! I prefer to just replace the word tomato for marijuana whereever it appears on that site. These look like they could be amazing for outdoor grows, what you guys think? I just wish I could find out a little more information about the dimensions and volume, but they seem to be at least 5-10gallons which should be fine. If they can grow bigass tomato plants, they should be able to grow big ass buds!

i think i might try something like that hanging in a tree this year?

has anyone ever tried growing upsidie down before?

it would be nice to hang a five gallon bucket with like a 3-5 gallon pot for soil attached underneath it, then fill the top 5 gal with water and let it drip into the upside down pot. you could use a simple painters hook on the handle of the 5 gal just like how painters hang paint buckets on ladder rungs, you would just be hanging a cannabis plant on a tree limb!

i dont buy the idea that because the plant is under the pot, that the nutrients flush into the plant, that sounds like sales B.S? i would have to think that the root system works the same way how ever you put it! also the part about tomatoes finishing 4 months earlier????? wtf how is that possible? haha B.S.

i wonder if birds or squirrls would mess with them or not? and how long the soil could stay saturated for? considering the five gal for water would have a lid on it and the soil pot is pretty much closed besides the hole for the stalk, this thing may be very efficient! also you could put nutes in the resevoir!

this idea is worthy of some attention eh!

Alot of the information I'm sure is just bullshit to sell it, but I just like the idea itself.

It also says 4 weeks not months, which isn't entirely farfetchd, more effective growing methods can speed up the growing process, which is why plants can pop a good couple weeks earlier in a nice hydro system then in dirt.

Also in theory the thing with the nutrients is possible although I don't put much stock in it. It does make sense though, gravity effects all things including plants. A normal plant you water and apply nutes at the roots and then the plant has to use energy to push all of that moisture and nutrients up through its branches, instead gravity would do all of the work and the plant could conserve that energy for growth.

hey i just read some reveiws on growing toms upside down, not in this product but in similar homemade contraptions. traditional upright methods won hands down, and some upside downers never produced any toms, the ones that did put out toms werent as good as the upright ones? ill have to pick apart that commercial more when i have time, after reading what i just read im very sceptical that the plant in the commercial was 100% grown in that product? i love denouncing fake camera angels and other advertising trickery!

im still into this concept though regardless of poor reveiws and b.s advertising. i would think that with the right drip emitter for the resevoir you might be able togo maybe a whole month without watering??? i hope someone in the cannabis world actually experiments with this if they havnt already!!!!

I ordered some haha! I'm kinda worried about stealth as a main concern this season, all my past outdoor attempts were unsuccesfull do to rippers/1st timer mistakes, but I've done a bit of indoor growing since then so I'm mostly worried about security at my guerrila site from ground/air, I got some autos I was definitely going to plant and seed and get a couple patches going 2 weeks apart year-round, I also got some Sativas that i was starting to contemplate planting or not because I didn't want to worry about my trees getting seen from the air. But with these I might just hang them from a tree with a drip over them and check on em during my auto harvests and see how they do. I'm thinking they wont get too big because of the potsize which is okay really, I think it would be hilarious to see a 10ft plant hanging upside down from a tree branch haha!
