Canadians need to update their attitudes on American beer. We have made amazing advances in beer since the brewing laws changed. I believe that America has closed the ABV (alcohol by volume) gap and now routinely makes much better and stronger beer than Canadia. Though, regrettably, most Americans still drink shit beer.

Tty, most states now have amazing beer and many Colorado beer are now distributed widely. Though there is nothing like a fresh beer.

I vote on on election day. Everybody else has already stood in line for hours on end while they work all the bugs out of the system voting early.

Then I go right down the street, stand in line 20 minutes, done.

How nice for you.

I voted last week at about 4:30. Polls close at 5. There were two people there and two election judges. I declined to give them my driver's license and one said, "you need to". I told her that I knew the law better than her and was allowed to give a current (within 12 months) bank statement, utility bill or the last 4 numbers of my social security number which I had written down on paper for her. She gave me a ballot and I voted. It took ten minutes.

Our senator will win easily and the only real race here (gerrymandered) is governor.

Gerrymandering could actually hurt Republican turnout this year and affect statewide races.

I used to always take the day off work and work as an election judge. I kind of miss it. Here it is a favor given to the very elderly for having a friend on the election board. We have a lot of old people. They suck at following election law.

Now that you've voted you are free to drive folks to the polls and canvas on election day, people can do more than vote, but can amplify their impact by helping others. If you can afford it, give money or travel to a republican district and volunteer, I wonder if there are websites with suggestions...;)

I'm guilty of liking a shitty beer lol, Icehouse is my favorite beer hands down

Nothing like a fresh beer, amen
I meant no meanness. Ya like what ya like.

I just paid $26 for 750ml of Founder's CBS. Dunno where it came from but is 2017 vintage so it is nicely aged and ready to drink. Something for the holidays.
