I got it at Home Depot. It is a cement mixing bit. You can find one just about anywhere and the price was 6 bucks.
I have one right down the street. So, I watched the video...here is what I think I need:

1. Mixer Bit (getting at Home Depot)
2. Two 5 gallon buckets (also, getting at Home Depot)
3. Ice
4. Trim (duh) X
5. Length of garden hose
6. Length of aquarium hose
7. Glass jar X
8. Strainer (almost forgot)
9. Paper bowl? (this is the part that confused me a bit)
10. Light for drying X
11. Fans for drying X

Anything I am missing?!?!?!? :eyesmoke:

I want to do my first run tomorrow! This is awesome man! I thought I was gonna have to buy a bunch of bullshit! Thanks again! :bigjoint::bigjoint:

You don't need one, but a turkey baster REALLY comes in handy when you are trying to get right down to the bottom of the water and the top of the hash. Also, you will need wax paper. Line a bowl with a double layer of that and you're set.

I am wondering if I have enough trim though. Maybe I should wait...

I have 26 grams of high grade trim. Close up trimming, with hairs and trichs all over the place, even a few nug slices here and there.

I have 63 grams of less great trim, IE fan leaves and the less crystallized trim. Even if I only get 5% of that weight, it would be 5 grams! Well worth it.

What to you think?

That's plenty enough to do one bucket full. You should get about a quarter ounce out of it so I say go for it!

Dill what did I ever do without you?

I am excited you're really goin strong on RIU buddy! I will take pics of the process and post them tomorrow! I just got back from shopping! Spent $37 on all the equipment, so if I get 3 grams it will be worth the investment!

I picked up the wax paper and turkey baster as suggested. I also got an extra fine screen to use in conjunction with the normal one. What do you think of that idea?

I was planning on using it when I dump from bucket to bucket, early on in the process.

Maybe I will skip it this time and just learn how to do it first....actually, I will.

What do you think of the idea though?

Not a bad idea, but the sieve I picked up to strain out the plant matter had an extension piece on it to sit atop the other five gallon bucket while I poured. Something like this:

Yeah I think it's a sound idea. Check out a pic of the hash I made!

I only got just over a gram. I made some mistakes though, and I didn't have very much actual good trim, mostly fan leaves.

VERY STONY though!

Nice! Glad to see you using the same technique, it is a great one. I made another 15 gram monster the other day myself and left it all in one piece until earlier tonight when I broke it up to give to a few friends for helping me do some stuff around the house. I wish I would have gotten a picture of this one because it came out even better than the first batch did but alas, I still have not gotten my camera back from my friend's place...

Also, the Big Bang and White Widow are curing very nicely and they get better and better every day. :joint:
