Just throwing this out there, but has it crossed your mind that it could have been an animal? If I put any of my potted plants outside, it doesn't take long for a squirrel to get very interested in the contents of fox farms soil. They will dig up most young plants in search of something. Then of course, add the fact that yours were in peat pots, which probably makes for decent nesting material.

If it was in no way an animal, then you have some dumb thieves around you. The culprit is probably 13.

No there was barely any dirt spilled and they were all gone. Thieves for sure.

My advice is that if you want to keep your plants, don't grow next to a public footpath. Kids are kids, of course they will take a plant if it's staring them in the face with noone else watching.

And? That's like saying it is safe to put plants in your front garden because its not the pavement. As per your picture, a public footpath runs past your cannabis plants, a footpath used by kids. Did you genuinely think that nothing would happen? Sucks that it happened, but I can in no way say I'm surprised it happened, I'd have been more surprised if it didn't. As per your picture, there is not even a fence. They are kids, kids do not simply follow the footpath. They will cycle and go where they please. They are also inquisitive by nature.

I was just clearing that up I didn't know if you thought there was an actual path that was used between the two houses as I never would have planted them there. Still not very surprising that it happened, I knew it would eventually happen depending on how long I left them out there but I thought they were still small enough to not be recognized. I blame my eyes haha terrible vision and I was without contacts/glasses for quite some time so I figured no one could see them from where I was. I'm pretty depressed that this all happened because now it really seems like im not getting them back. I don't really want to plant and go for a late September harvest right now because I really don't see the point. Still going to throw out the bait cups though and see.

Looks like you didn't lose too much. I mean they could've waited for you to grow em bigger then snatched up. Sucks that it was 6 different strains, but you still have enough time to start over.

I think I've found out who it was. Some kid that walks through my yard has recently robbed one of his "friends" walked right up in his house and took all his weed while he was there. He hasn't been walking through my yard anymore so I'm pretty fuckin sure it was him. Got 2 other kids trying to get it out of him now. But in response to your reply yes it is very sucky that I lost 6 different strains (BC cheese is the whole reason that I wanted to start growing pot a couple years ago and I just got around to it now). It wasn't my neighbor, one of the main reasons I'm pissed is because they stole them at suck a small stage. What a terrible robbery you know? lol it just doesn't make sense to me
