I have a grow going under 2 400 watt hps

hey i have a grow going with 2 400watt going at the same time. I know i should just get a 1000w but my ballast just took a crap . what can i expect with 2 400 watt bulbs going atthe same time to flower my pretty lil girls. Also i been having a lot of trouble with my end product but i think it bcuz i was just running a 400 watt at the time
 
400w ......hps?

if you have the space spread it out get as much penetration as u can, get thoes 400s right up in your girls face.

I get anywhere from 12-16oz under my 400w.

So you should do ok.

Just bare in mind that you've got around 2.5ft of penetration power with a 400 so it's all about your canopy.

If your canopy is level you'll do well.

hey thats for the response im doing a closet grow no canopy its a large walk in closet a good sized room ..
 
I run 2- 400's all the time. I use a few CFL's for a little bit of side lighting as well. My yields have been slowly increasing depending on strain of course. I've been pulling lately nothing less than 80G per each plant. Your growing experience will figure into that as well.
Jondamon above here has been at it quite awhile and gets great yields from 400watts.

my first few were very poor but that was me running it with only onee 400 watt . i hope yeilds will be much better now with 2 going and im doing the solo cup method my harvest rate is about every 2 weeks but the buds are airy and small. i want to change that .
