i have a few questions !!

im looking to start growing in a month and im going to be using a 600w hps in a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m grow tent with the basic extractor ill also be using a 4 pot dwc and two clip fans how much would this roughly cost per week / month and will the difference of weekly in put fluctuation raise suspicion to my energy provider ??

also to mention will be using a cool tube and extracting the air in to my room??? or maybe the hall way backing to upstairs of the house, don't want to get caught with the flir camera because the room next to it is full to the roof of bag of stuff getting cleared out and its up against the window and worried it will look irregular to the double room next to it ill be growing in, to add it will be winter by around the time ill be flowering and its cold as fuck outside

if you can share you thoughts that would be great, and if you could recommend other than Valium and Xanax that would also be appreciated

How much it's going to cost depends what you pay for electric, look at your bill. It should tell you how much you pay per kWh (kilo-watt hour). The light for example, the 600 watt ballast actually draws 660 watts AFAIK (rated wattage +10%). To convert watts to kilowatts you move the decimal 3 spaces to the left (.66 kW). Multiply that by the number of hours your ballast is running to determine the kWh and then multiple that number by the price per kWh. That figure should be the cost per day.
Pretty sure that is how it goes, I'm a bit stoned though. Fuck it anyways there are calculators online that help you estimate usage.

I wouldn't worry about costs. It won't be much more. I'm running two tents @ 1400w of light alone, fans etc and it's probably only put my bill up $50 extra a month maybe.

Your electricity provider won't even notice 600w being pulled imo.....(stolen electricity; now that they notice!)

Yea the electric company won't notice or care about a one light set up. And if you're pulling the heat out from it/cooling it down a bit the flir camera won't care, just look like you got the dryer running. Po don't care about a one bulb grow, they looking for tha big dawgs.

See if you power company has an online calculator to estimate charges.. if not they should tell you how much for KWH you are being charged.

In reality 600W + fans/pumps/etc is normal.

What gets most people busted is _smell_.

So make sure it don't smell when the the power guy comes to check your meter.

Definitely spend cash on a quality carbon filter...

getting one as standard with the tent should be good till i crop

do i need another fan to let air in to the little tent?
and ill be using smell buffers around the house
as well as the carbon filter as standard in the tent

No need for an intake fan..the outtake/filter combi will be sufficient
