I have a confession...

I have been growing autos for over a year now. The reason I started growing autos was because someone gave them to me. I tried to grow photos b4 which failed badly. None of the autos I have ever grown have yield me over a zip. I hear everyone say that if you run the same strain a few times then my yields will get higher. But the truth is I don't want to have to figure out a complex feedin schedule or have to run the same strain for a year before I'm happy with it. I picked up buddha seeds syrup only because I seen a few vids were the grow pulled 5+ zips. One guy pulled something like 7.9. Well lets just say I'm didn't t get even close. I won't run this strain again if I'm not able to get seeds of the plant I've been spraying. I won't strain that gives me weight the first time without alot of work. My next strain is pyramid seeds fresh candy auto which is just sweet tooth....

Some may say I'm giving up but I know myself. Im not consistent about anything. I honestly feel this why most people who have tried autos feel it's a waste of time. The reason I keep growing them is because I'm inconsistent and don't have to work about a strict lighting schedule....this is just me venting

Snap I am same but want to try as many different ones all I do is plant stick in tent an chuck water an nutes in here an their shame on me I know but I am a new grower lol an work so time is limited but I get some good results up to yet not massive ones but I am happy with it till I get more time

Bigger pots. Like five gallons or bigger.

These are in 15 inch pots a little shorter and wider than a five gallon bucket. Water only organic.

The key to bigger autos is bigger pots and higher amounts of nitrogen.

So beautiful, man. I really need to get MY ass in gear....I've got the seeds, the $$$ for a setup, the means, and the space....just afraid/hesitant, I suppose....fuckin pigs around here....

For various reasons, like the neighbors fighting, I have had cops within a couple hundred feet of my grow room exhaust.
One time I walked out and asked them to move out of my driveway.

You need to get on a personal level with em 1 or 2 at a time ....... After that man you can just look at em and know what feed to bump up or down and when ... I grow in old recycled coco/soil it's trash any real grower would laugh at it but it works for me because I can read the plant

What's the most you have pulled off a single auto? The plants themselves are killer smoke. The syrup I just chopped down is the frostest weed I have ever touched. It feels like it was rolled in thc. But from 2 plants I pulled 1 zip. You seen the size of them. The biggest one was over 2 feet and that was in a 5 gallon bucket. I'm sorry but what am I doing so wrong where I can't get over an ounce. Hands down what strain do I get right now that will give me over 2 zips without trying....the quality of the autos I've grow have been top notch. The syrup I would grow again if I had seeds. But I refuse to pay for them again.

What plant is that growing in the tent. You've seen a few of my grows. I'm not too bad. But it's about time I find a good strain with weight. That's my only issue. I'm eyeballing Dutch passion gear now and don't know what to get. I'm doing one more outdoor grow for August....I'm seeing under 60f at night here in sf bay. So I want to try something with some color...I have 8 berry Ryder's going out next week and will have 20 of those seeds left for August

The two outer plants are Heisenberg from mephisto genetics. Thy gave free seeds away for a comparison grow. They did their work breeding. Only a couple phenos and about all of them looked good no matter the skill of the grower.

The one in the middle was a xxl amnesia from dinafem. They have a whole line of xxl autos that go around 100 days and get pretty big. It has a cheese smell. Probably the sativa side of it.

I don't really remember what soil I used since I picked up quite a few bags of different stuff for the garden as well. My next run I'm going to try to go super light. And use Kellogg's patio and half perlite. I don't see my veg being the issue the buds just don't put on weight. I'm using fox farm trio. But didn't feed that many time this round. I'm thinking about cutting fox farm ocean forest 50/50 with perlite. Might give me more nutes down the line

Even with a small grow in a small place a person can still do it. Buy all your amendments in five pound bags.

Run a couple trashcans or totes and alternate out. Grow in one while the other is cooking. Plus those amendments would last a long time.

Water only soil just gets better over time. Every run gets better.

That is a long read but worth it.

4 zips or so in a 3 gal .... Had some of shit.ches gear prolly got 6 or so of bs

They should never stop growing from day one ..... Most stalls/stunts are as simple as a watering issue

isn't this every growers dream?? I'm very very new but understand growing dank ass cannabis isn't going to happen overnight. Its not the strains you picked that's to blame you need to put in the work and give it ALOT of time and effort
