the summer is comming to its end and its still 107 fuckin degrees out and my plants just stress and die.....the days are still like 14-10:evil:

word! i love cali too, nice to be close to the ocean though, doesn't sound like you are! GROW INDOORS

im about an hour from the ocean....i am just gonna start them indoors for now on until they are big enough to survive outside with limited attention....i absolutely love cali....but that just keeps pissin me off ya know?

I know what you mean, I grow indoors and outdoors.
What I do outdoors is partially shade my plants. This works well.

I use 2 by 2 sticks 2 inches apart, eight feet above the plants (Like a patio cover) during the hot months and spray water on the ground around them.

If you are going to grow next year you should build a shade like this for them. If you use small nails you can easily remove them when the temps drop a bit.
