I was measuring my biggest plant and dropped the tape on a branch and it broke! Its hanging on, if I secure back to the main stock will it live? How will this affect my plant? Its like the very bottom branch.
I gotta stop hovering over these plants!!! HELP!!!

Is the main stem ok? losing a branch happens through out a grow. It's usually no big deal and the plant never notices..

try electrical tape for aweek or so till it heals.Also you say your hovering over your plants,thats some damn good shit your smokin girl.

yeah i split my plant just like that my last grow-just tie it up good and it should be fine.

Ouch. Looks like you broke your plants foot too. Tape or tie it. I don't think I've ever seen a plant die from a broken branch though that's in a spot I had yet to see.

thats a bad break.
but it happened in the best place.
get it back against the stem before the resins harden.
electric tape will do good cuz its kinda stratchy and wont choke the plant
if u can keep it in place for a week or two itll be fine.
its reduced ability for capillary action may require leaf pruning to keep the branch from starving itself

Taping or tying should both work. Cannabis is an EXTREMELY resilient plant(reminds me of bermuda grass). Just a thought I haven't seen mentioned but did successfully when I did the same as you. I grabbed it, took a deep breathe, sighed out loud, cursed a little, then used a clean razor to finish the amputation. Took the broken branch, cut a 45 and stuck it in seedling soil(didn't have any rooting hormone). It was pretty sad for about 2 weeks, and all of a sudden she perked up and I now had my first-ever clone.

Turned on the lights for my babies and she still looks good!!!! The branch is of good color and has even gotten a new leaf going. Its only been a day would I know yet if she will survive?

I would say it'll be day to day for a few, but if she shows no wilt she has a good chance!
