i got better results using less nutes

my first grow all i used was coco a+b,rizotonic and pk13/14 from the 3rd week of flowering to the week before the flush, the second grow i did i used house and garden a+b, multienze,bud xl,top booster and bloombastic, i followed the feed schedual as it said and i got worse results all my ph where spot on the cf was spot on, ive decided that its aload of bullshit and the plants dont need it, all i seemed to be doing was giving them flushes all the time because all the nutes blocked the plants up salt build up etc, i think people are right when they say nute companys just fill everyone with bullshit to get your money, i think a basic nute recipe is far better the plant gets everything it needs without all the extra stuff it doesnt need, does anyone agree


sorry forgot to mention i got 3oz dry per plant first time and 2nd time got about 1oz dry, both grows where g13 from same mother and grow in the exact same room

Well, as you read through the forum, you will realise that barely anyone (if anyone at all) uses any nutes at full strength.
These are in excess for your plant, and so are usually diluted to 1/4 or even 1/8th strength before use.

Seeing as you are going into your 3rd grow, It is advisable to read through a few grow journals, just to see what does and doesn't work when growing.

canna rules

i wasnt using full strengh i was using about half strengh at the end of flowering and cf was 2.0 which is what it needs to be, its all just bullshit what they write on the bottle

yeah it seems like canna does rule

i use pretty much the same line up as u canna a and b, rizatonic n PK. i start off at 1/4 strength nutes and work my way up to just under full strength by the end of flowering, ive used diff brands before but found canna to be the best for me, the pH is more stable and my yield has been bigger

i don't really agree with this. in fact i think it is quite wrong. near all growers on this site i've spoken to use full dosage. the only time i'm aware of growers not using full dosage and using 1/4 or 12 is when the plants are very young. i also know of a good number of growers who ignore the guidelines and go over the recommended doses.

i have used full strength and beyond with great results.

oh, and you cannot make a comparison of whether they like more or less when you use two totally different manufacturers and ranges....

think a basic nute recipe is far better the plant gets everything it needs without all the extra stuff it doesnt need, does anyone agree

try growing canna A + B and then try growing with canna A + B, PK 13/14 and boost and only then can you accurately prove or disprove your hypothesis.

yes i agree with tip top toker for the first 2 weeks i use 1/2 strength nutes then start to whack it up i am currently usint the 8 pot atami wilma system coco medium mixed with vercumilite nutes are sensi grow a+b sensi bloom a+b i used canna rhizotonic for the first 3 weeks veg along with sensi grow a+b an superthrive in flowering i am using sensi bloom a/b carboload hammerhead pk 9/18 big bud an overdrive an i have not had one problem they are 5 weeks in to flower an the very bottom leaves are just yellowing i am very impressed with an at the minute i've used bio bizz line up an house an garden coco a/b before but seemed to have problems i know alot of you hate advanced but this grow seems to love them, flowers are white widows peace

I think an experienced grower should be able to read their plants and feed em accordingly. Marijuana flowering nutes are mostly just beet production bi-products with a huge price tag. I get the same nutrition from Agway with proven products for 1/3 the money. But like I said nutrient strength is plant specific IMO. I have some Big Bang going 2 days before flush (water & molasses) and they are taking double strength nutes and putting on noticable size everyday.

i was reading my plants and i kept them healthy all the way through but i had a cf pen so i knew it wasnt to strong for my plants, what i was trying to say is all that super doopy fucking bid bud shit and all the extra things they tell you to buy is just a rip off, all you need is a good a+b which has the right microbes etc etc, a root stimulator and a boost like pk13/14 or similar, not to go buy like 20 different bottles like they tell u to its just a waste of money in my experience

yes i dont think you need to buy all the stuff the bottles i have brought are all around the same price as h an g nutes an canna i use the rhizo for rooting an stress relif when reppotting with a bit of superthrive my base nutes a/b sensi grow an in flower i use the sensi bloom a/b an the couple of additives during the comming weeks of flower i give big bud through weeks 1-4 alongside carboload i did use molasses but made my rez slimey i use hammerhead pk9/18 in weeks 3-5 an then i use overdrive with hammerhead in the last 2 weeks before flush like i say i agree u dont need to buy all line up of any nute company this grow has just blown my mind how lush everything is an how well developed bud formation is i will stay with this line up i have been using each to there own i think everyone has there own soup/nute concuction they like to use i also think alot of problems people/growers face is they like advanced sporting products like bigbud an all the other marketing they buy these nutes at a cost an thats it you gave them these nutes now your gonna grow monster buds that have tattoos grow legs an have a smoke with you but have 1 cfl for lighting mud from the backyard overwatered pest an other problems they have an then when you dont get the monster buds the bottle says you blame the nute company an then are for ever searching different brands to try an grow what the pros are getting the best thing i think is to stick with what you have an get it dialled in an research research is the key along with a good root mass an alot of love an air flow an water an light an so on always aim for 1oz or 2 a plant then when you get a colas the size as your leg your laughing well smiling sorry peeps i am abit baked hence this rambling that i am chattin about that i have no clue as too what i am sayin damn this weeds good uk love peace
