I am doing my first indoor grow (usually do outside grows). Candles use oxygen and let out Co2. If i put a candle in my grow box. Can it be used as a c02 generator? ( i can control the temperature of my grow room). I also know that too much co2 will kill the plants, so i will leave it for a limited amount of time a day.

No don't put candles in grow room it's a fire hazard! u can make a mixture of sugar and yeast in warm water, something like that I'm not too sure on the specifics and it will create co2 without open flame I know they use co2 burners but fire is contained and has safety precautions. Your candle sitting there could fall get knocked over ect start fire ect

It's all ball bearings nowadays. Now you prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads, and I'm gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone. No, no make that Quaker State.
