I got a new fish today

I was browsing Craigslist and I found free fish today. Any aquarium enthusiasts know that a free 14" oscar is a STEAL. If I would of went to the fish store to get it it would of cost me upwards of $200 most likely. If you look at it from the side it's litterally the size of a football. I feel bad for keeping it in my 90 gallon tank. It seems so confined.

I have two red tiger oscars and they are awesome. The only problem is they occasionally go after my other fish :wall:

Dude! First of all I will say that is an awesome deal but your feelings are dead on. Get a bigger tank for your new buddy.

He grew to that size in a 55 gallon? and you have him in a 90? Well it's still more space, but I bet he'd love an even bigger place.

Are we going to get a photo of this beast to look at? I would like to see him. I used to have fish but got rid of them, touching the water made my skin break out really bad.

it was free because that mofo was probably eatin other fish on the daily.my friend bought one when it was small. when it grew it started killin all the other fish in the tank. so he took it back to the store he bought it from. they said they wouldn't give him money for it but they would give it a good home. he then watched them put it in a tank with smaller fish.:wall: by the time he got done lookin around the store the oscar had already killed a fish. haha , idiots. his oscar was badass though dude. it wore a dew rag ,had a butterfly knife, and smoked cigs in the corner of the tank when it wasn't out murderin heads.

Wow, that pic that ANC put up might just be of this particular fish. Hey sunny, I actually live in Jacksonville, northeast florida. I seriously doubt I could fit a big tank in my geo prizm though. :(
Bad news. I learned last night the hard way not to handle fish while high. I put two fish in bags to move them into one of the other tanks (a 7 inch catfish, and a 4 inch Cichlid) Apparently though the bag had a hole in it I didn't notice so it filled all the way up, and the air escaped. Long story short the cichlid drowned/suffocated. I feel even worse now. :(

Could be, but I doubt it. He's not bothering my convict cichlids and some of them get as small as 1 inch.
