open source will always pwn, IE being part of the OS just runs better. Its only attacked more because its more popular, firefox is nice. It doesnt matter which browser you use, you will eventually need to run some spyware scans. There is no ONE program to protect you and running multiple takes up too much ram and slows the PC. Just run some scans starting with Malwarebytes (free to use for two weeks, run it then uninstall) then online trend housecall scan is nice. Regardless of which antivirus program you use its always good to run a scan with other programs after few months of porn surfing. Combofix is a good tool as well, also first move should be to run msconfig and remove all the gay startup items
Its true, but i do use firefox.. just saying.. explorer is better for a webdesigner.. and well.. yeah.
