I found a new way to get rid of bugs!!!

I figured this out on accident and ever since i discovered it, I still can't believe how good it works. Set out a small bowl or glass near your plants and fill it up with WITCH HAZEL. (available in any grocery/drug store in the first aid section) . For some reason, all kinds of plant pests just go fucking ape shit over the stuff. The bugs ( Fungus gnats, aphids, mites) crawl into it within a day or two, and they drown. I've never heard about anyone else ever doing this. But I suggest it to you guys who are having pest problems. Let me know what happens, it worked great for me!

Beer works too. I use a paper plate with molassess on it. All the bugs head straight for it and get stuck.

Good post but I don't think it'll work against spidermites.

I just put a small cup of witch hazel in the cabinet next to the plant. I'll be back for an update. And some +rep if it works. lol Thanks for the idea!

LOL... I've never seen a spidermite voluntarily leave the foliage... They are born their, they eat and sleep there, they live there, they lay eggs there, and they die there...

How they die, and how soon is sometimes up to the grower though

I could see it working for some winged pests though...

the little buggers get in there somehow in the first place tho ... they must go wandering at some point
