I don't like pot & chocolate

seriously now...most people don't understand that taste buds have preferences. the trick to making anything taste amazing ... especially chocolate is to understand how each ingredient is going to occupy the taste receptors on a persons tongue. if you want to eliminate a flavor you simply add ingredients that occupy the same taste receptors. ph has a lot to do with which flavors are more dominate and higher or lower ph tends to dominate more ph neutral or "subtle" flavors but again it is a "Preference" not a strict antagonist type action this is why some things taste good to some people and not to others and also why some things are "acquired" tastes.
