I purchased a 600w hps bulb by Agromax used it for the first time starting in March. Went to go say goodmorning to the babies everything was fine came back 2 hrs later NO LIGHT  WTF I hope HTG supply is not going to give me a hard way to go about replacing it, I wonder how long is the warranty for? I need this light bulb asap. Has anyone had this happen to them before. The freakin Bulb didnt even last 4 months, I do have an old one but i think its on it last leg. Im 23 days into flowering this really sucks

I've heard HTG is good about replacing bulbs, it used to just be their cheap line but hearing more and more stories about any bulb they sell. I wonder if they are buying second hand or some kind slight defects when it comes to bulbs. Too many bad bulbs from them to be a coincidence, something is wrong. Plus they said at the first of the year they had the problem fixed, which it seems to only have gotten worse, and if they think they fixed the problem they have some kind of idea of what the problem is. If I was selling bulbs I wouldn't know how to fix the problem unless to change suppliers. Plus if they are getting them cheap enough to keep replacing them without worrying about it. Something is definitely wrong there. That is the last place I would get a bulb from.

Everyone can brag all they want about their prices and saving $10 but when I'm flowering and my bulb keeps on burning I think the extra $10 was worth it.

It's too bad because it sounds like they treat their customers good, but if they keep selling junk they might not be in business much longer.

I have been to their actual store in Western Pennsylvania, half hour from Pittsburgh and I must say HTG is one of the sweetest places I have ever been. The store wasn't very big but it was a great set up. The people working there are really helpful, very good about giving advice and making sure you know about the warranties, etc. It'll be in business a long time, just based on these things. The fact that their prices blow everyone else away just ices the cake and makes all the difference for ppl that just want to order online and not have to spend a lot of money paying for stuff they can grow in their closets.

The reports keep getting worse and worse, I think if they want to stay in busines they better get their act together.

the agromax is been going for almost a year now for me, and trust me a have a "few", my issues are with thier "growbright" line, ballasts and bulbs crap out in a month....one thing for sure is, before i started messing with HID lights, i have a personal friend who told me the key is to stock up on bulbs, no matter what brand they will go out and you need back ups, lots and lots of backups...so for your next orders on ballasts and what not make them throw in freebies or opt to get a spare, any serious grower or veteran has a good handful always laying around, i just posted this on another thread, HTG does so much business that if you see one bad posting today, odds are they shipped out 50 perfect orders today, and you will always hear about the negatives, when was the last time you seen threads started for a good delivery? i had bad ballasts from them too i been thru this and i feel all the pains, i feel bad they get a bad rap, at the same time someons crop can get screwed, if you dont have it like that to have an extra ballast laying around, keep your CFLs handy!

Thanks guys I never heard anything bad about them until now, and the brand was a agromax, i wouldn't give them a bad rep yet, they will be replacing the bulb and didnt give me any problems and they will ship me out a new one as soon as i call them with the tracking number. and you are right morrisgreenburg you should have some spares I do, its not a good spare but its better than darkness..lol never thought about an extra ballast tho. If I buy another ballast im using both of them...lol

You aren't lying. When I first started out, I was stupid enough to buy their complete grow kit. They made it seem so simple, when in reality what they gave you was so cheap, you were more liable to burn your house down than grow weed. I must admit if I would have done more research, I wouldn't have been stupid enough to buy that kit......but they still shouldn't have been trying to sell that bulshit off as something that was going to give you good results.

I won't fuck with HTG Supply after that. To sell a kit that won't work obviously means they are looking for suckers. I rather deal with people known for quality. That shit is important in this industry.

well did HTG supply make this kit? I dont know how they would responsible for that if they dont make the kit..i doubt very seriously if they test all the products they sell, it must be selling or they wouldnt sell it, now Im wondering are they buying bad/old/used bulbs or is it the maker agromax not selling quality products..i will see how long the second one last

Well I was looking at buying a 400 watt digital setup from them(HTG).. Should I be looking else where?
If you've been reading along to a couple of threads posted lately I would suggest you go elsewhere. Unless you don't mind the inconvenience of your lights lasting less than 2 weeks, or your order being wrong, or being shipped to the wrong address. If you want to fight those kind of odds then feel free to. All that seems to be said is it is because they have a lot of business lately and everyone makes mistakes so you should except it. Order extra stuff so when it goes bad you are not inconvienenced. With the one person having all three of his orders wrong, I'd be leary of ordering.

Read the threads and decide for yourself, it's only one guy's opinion.
