it's sort of a "silent agreement" that automatically puts all newborn into this contract. it's the only way things can work out in a peaceful, sensible & reasonable manner.

it's called 'informal norm' or 'folkway'.. social norm not necessarily written but understood ie walking to the right of someone on a sidewalk, letting the person off the elevator before going in

He was probably living by scavenger things from the neighboring gardens & fields + whatever you can find. He probably had a more healthy diet than 50% of US citizens. I wonder why he hid - because he could have left for another state and taken another identidy.... but... I've never really read a book about him just some small entries.... he seemed to be completely out of whack

There are some really interesting & inspiring true crime cases from the US which boast about 70% of all world-wide SM. And some of these guys even became "stars", and had a fanclub or something XD "Night Stalker" Richard Ramirez MARRIED, or there was this death house of H H Holmes a tourist attraction, but this guy was a sadist. Basically the most honorless way to kill someone...
And the Russians are vicious, too - they even got their TERMINATOR that storms through the frontdoor like Rambo and kills everybody and burns the house down and they were mobilizing the national army...
Humans are worst (at its best). An alien abduction could be godsent - maybe they are more peaceful XD

Those are polite social norms and help to reinforce the idea that being polite is a good thing. Good behavior begets more good behavior.
A "social contract" which first attempts to use forcible funding, a bad thing, to then hope to deliver good things, is not a good demonstration of good behavior begetting good behavior. You're welcome.
