oh my goodness. what drying/curing method will you be using?

trying out a few dif things. most is just hanging up outside the grow area of those strings. dehumdifier running and a/c blasting. like a half o is drying in the cedar box. and the 3 oz in the shoebox is already dried. it dried mostly on the string but has been in the box for a day now i think. its going into jars tonight. i will be curing in glass.

well if your buds that big I can see why they tremble.....

heres a few more. theres still a bunch of buds still in the screen. they just arent done yet. give them another 4-6 days and another round of trimming. by then all the bud i have hanging will be ready for jars. first picture is what im leaving to keep going. second is just a random of the popcorns that are drying in the cedar box. third was right when i got started this morning. the last pic is sweet. i liked that nug cause it was growing around the screen. pretty neat.

lol they look so skinny now compared to how they used to look in the screen...now is when someone will pop in and say soooo are you gonna weave through the screen??? lmao

actually my colas didnt turn out as big as i was expecting. but i also didnt realize i would have over 200 colas. hahahahahaha or be like how long into flowering are you?

Hey BillyScrog, brilliant work, man! Truly ridiculous stuff. Have you ever considered supercropping for your next batch? I was also thinking about your trimming, do you mind a re-cap of when exactly you tried to trim? I think you said most of it was chopped after two weeks of vegging over a period of 3 days and then again a little after two weeks of flowering. I imagine there were little random snippets every now and then to keep these puppies under control? Also, I was wondering if instead of trimming over a quick 3 days, why not spread it out, trimming maybe one/a few branches a day over a few weeks to minimize shock?

well if u live in the staes your local harware store will have everything. like homedepot or lowes. all the fitting will be in the sprinkler section. & the gromits should be in the bolt section (they use them in automotive to get wires through metal) normally they are in the spectialty parts trays that pull out. or u can jsut ask where they keep the automotive electrical gromits ect..

I might supercrop next time. havent decided yet. i am ganna take a break for like 2-3 weeks and finish this batch up and find a new place. I pretty much trimmed everything underneath the screen at week 2 of flowering. i vegged for 9 weeks into the screen, then flipped and continued to train until week 2, when i trimmed. there were alot of random snippets, cause trimming everything under the screen on 12 branched the fuck out plants produced alot of plant matter. so i just took all the shit off when i got a chance. i also trimmed alot of fan leaves off the tops at around week 3. and yeah it shocked them and set them back about a week. but aint no big deal, they just went 1 week longer. Also I didnt have alot of time to be in there everyday trimming. I also work 40 hours on top of this.

thats what i figured. thanks man that really saves me some money cause im planning on setting up another system. all ive gotta buy now is another controller, another drum, pumps and buckets. oh yeah and a buncha lights lol

Thanks man. your words are very kind. It was hard, also working a 40 hour a week job on top of this. After tackling this I think im ready for more. next grow is looking at a minimum of 4 screens of 16. we will see though. if that comes to be. no more billybob88 on RIU. but it might have to happen for safety reasons. i hope everyone understands my circumstance. i love RIU but sometimes enough personal info is enough.

4 screens of 16 each? so 64 in all? thats a lotta kablingy. have you considered doing a SOG like Al B. Fuct has? if you are going for volume that system seems to have it in spades. i am just wondering your thought process because i am thinking of something very similar to your guys' shit.

yeah i might go sea of green. or i might go vertial scrog. or i might go stadium. we will just see what plays out. i really like scrog. did really good my first try. next one im sure would be easier and go alot better. and yeah 64 will be my minimum.

I think im ganna chop the rest tommorow. and see if the buds drying are ready for jars yet. i think i still have another 10 hours of trimming.
