I AM WRITING A BOOK, can I mention BRAND NAMES and PICKS ?

Title says it all, could I wright something like... "Earth Juice Up and Down is my favorite way to organically stabilize my PH." ...in a book WITH a PICTURE taken by me with my camera of that product?

OR do i need some sort of rights?

"Every" book has been written 100 times already, and every story told a million. People keep doing it better and to fit the needs of an ever changing and advancing world.

Call the manufature and tell them you will give them good reviews if they pay you , that is how it is done.

Got a copyright laywer?

i BELIEVE that what you want to do is fine
where you'd run into problems would be to say that you HATE earth juice and noone should EVER use that crap
THAT would cause possible issue
unsubstantiated negative claims are gonna be your biggest issue

MAYBE you should read some horticulture and botany books... like 10 or 15 of 'em and then get back at me with your opinion.

And to everyone else thank you tons, I had thought that as long as I was promoting it there would be no problem, and YES i will be calling the manufactures and checkin in with them, Maybe get some 'approval' letters or what not

I hope this work out like I think, been writing it for a couple years now and have my blood, sweat, tears, and some college into this thing.
