I am a licensed card holder in Washington - But how do I get the seeds?

Hey everyone,

I've been a licensed MMJ card holder up here in Washington State for about 3 years now. I've visited most of the dispensaries up here and personally, don't feel that any of the medication at these spots have what I'm looking for. They only really stock indica dominant strains...which put me to sleep and get me stoned. I am looking for more of a pure 100% sativa, which nobody really grows because of the long flowering times and lesser yields. Guess it's all about the quick money for the breeders up here.

Well since I'm allowed to grow 15 plants, I thought I would do just that. But I'm just thinking about 3-4 because of my limited space.

Question is. Where do I get the seeds I want?

The medical clinic, which gave me my license, only can refer to me places to get clones of certain strains. The main reason(s) I don't want clones is because they will most likely all be female, and second, they don't have any of the strains I'm after in the first place. I know the majority of people say you only want females, however I would like to have more of a natural setup and have a male in the group. Cannabis growing in the wild would have males and I want to keep my garden as close to nature as I can.

It seems very difficult to find the seeds I want. Then when I find them, the websites do not ship to the United States. I'm looking for the strains Durban Poison and Malawi.

There seems to be several hundred dispensaries around here, all selling dozens of different strains along with clones. I'm legally allowed to cultivate 15 plants...yet I can't find any where that's convenient to buy seeds.

Is there something that I'm missing? Where do I go? Preferably local, somewhere I can just buy them in person. :-)

Thanks!

There are plenty of companies that will ship to the USA, I'm sure some seed purchasing members will chime in with some suggestions...

Hey buddy. Here's the deal, you either need to know some one locally with good seeds (Good luck with that lol) or order of the internet. I recommend you look for Cinderella 99. It has a sativa stone with a really short like 60 day flowering time, Fruity taste and all around great quality. I've read its also easy to grow like white widow.

Have you tried attitude ? They carry a lot of different breeders' gear. And they accept money orders too.....

It may seem like males should be in your garden, but males will ruin your bud and you will just end up with a shit load of seeds. For your seed problem, there is tons of websites that ship to the USA.

How close do you live to the Canadian border? Vancouver is like Cannibis Central! Just Google "vancouver+cannabis seeds" - without the quotation marks. Do you feel a little road-trip comming on?

There are plenty of sites that sell all the strains, sativa and indica, any person could ever want and that certainly ship to the U.S.

check out

those are just a couple but there are many, try using google if you dont like what ive suggested.

The reason you dont want a male in your grow room is because they produce pollen sacks instead of bud. Its the bud on female plants that contain the THC and CBD's aka the medicine. If you allow a male to grow with your females it will pollinate the female plants causing them to stop focusing on producing Bud, or in other words to stop producing THC and CBD's (again the medicine) and to instead focus on producing seeds. This is how mids are born. And if your not a breeder of cannabis then most likely your seeds would produce poor plants, aka bag seed. IF your goal is to grow really great medicine for yourself then your best off ordering seeds from a site like those i suggested and if you want to continue to grow any one of the strains you purchase then your best bet is to take cuttings from a mother plant. For more info on this simply do a search for "cloning".
