I have very little knowledge of Hydro. If you were to have a 70 gallon resovoir how often does the water have to be changed?

Well I dont have any of this yet I was just wondering if there was a formula for the madness or if it was up to the grower. Lets just say it 2 8 x 4 24 plants. in hydroton.

some people change it once a week, some change it every 2 weeks, and some never change it, its up to you and your plants.

The reason for changing it regularly is that is the only way to reset the nute concentration. Plants don't always uptake equal proportions of all nutes and you don't know which are getting to be in higher or lower amounts. You can check ppms, but it doesn't tell you ppms of "what."
