Also soooo much misinfomation on web about h2o2. Pharmacy 3% stuff just dont work!!! Ruined my previous grow, and 3 months of work.
I've used it, but I agree it's not as effective. I always buy stronger concentration of everything because you can dilute it.

Antifreeze for example. 50/50 mix is the same price as full strength. Full strength makes 2 gallons though lol. Same price.

About h2o2 (30%) is teaspoon per gallon maybe too much? cos it really did clean roots in seconds :D

That's what I used in hydro and the dilution that I still use for plant/root sterilization, though mine is 35%.

It cleans them up pretty quick lol.

If you have ill effects from that dilution drop it down a bit I guess, but I don't think you should. If you do, please let me know though.

I just wonder why the hell people suggest that...
I think it's more of a preventative. I know of quite a few people who successfully run chlorine in their systems, though I believe most use HTH Pool Shock as opposed to liquid bleach.

And when I'm cleaning my system with bleach in between runs, I use a lot more than 8 drops per gallon.

I could never dial in a sterile rez. I find that using bacillus amyloliquefaciens to be the simplest, most effective thing. At least for me it is.
