Curious which nutrient lines do people prefer for growing medical grade hydroponically?

I've tried DNF but had bad results prior with RO water and DNF (think because I didn't use calmag), so this time I am going to be using RO and General Hydro Flora series with CaliMagic and RO water. Never tried this line before so I hope it works ok.

They're all the same the difference is which ones try to tell you the biggest fairy tale about their salts mixed with water in a bottle. If you can't get a good crop and your plants don't do good, nutrients is pretty much not on a list of things that could have went wrong.

You use organics in hydroponics?

Hydroponics is just growing plants in an inert medium while you supplement them with fertilizer. So yes you can grow hydroponicly using chicken shit if you use peat, coco and etc as your grow media and you deliver the water/shit teas to the plants.

I will disagree here respectfully. I know before, that using RO and DNF the CalMag deficiency did not show until week 5-6 in flower. And by then it was too late to correct the damage done to yields. Plants looked amazing except for the small yields and rust that showed on the leaves around week 5-6.

I know you can do it, I just have not seen it done except in aquaponics. Seems like synthetic nutrients in hydro is just much cleaner.

Well it still wasn't the DNF nutrient fault, you would have gotten the same results with all nutrients lines when using RO and not adding calcium.

Its not really as simple as saying RO no Calmag. If you went to week 5 and you started to see brown spots it could also be you had salt lock up or most of the lime(calcium) in the pro mix (if you were using that) was used up. Most people feed too much that's how they get yellowing in week 5+ with salts getting built up in their medium.

Would you though? Some lines contain more macro/micro nutrients. I haven't used them all and can't say. I always had good results using DNF + tap water and that's all I ever used before though. I thought the idea with the 3 part GH formula though was that it had everything the plant needed?

I only ever had yield problems when I switched from city water to well water, and had to filter it and use RO because it was so hard.

Too many variables, is it possible some nutrients could do a bit better, maybe but the difference in 99% of them is pretty tiny. I deal with guys who use 20 bottles of products and get 1.5 LB per light and I have guys who use 4 bottles of products and get 1.75+ per lights. There are too many things that could make or break a crop.

Soooo just saying .... if you dislike the corporate take over of weed aka Lp's but it's ok to pour store bought bottles from some corporation to feed Yer plants
Did ya test that crap? Maybe they pour some real harsh shit in those bottles... anyone know for sure
I did hear of one guy that mixes his own forget who that is
