hydroponic help, 1 male 1 female roots are tangled

as usual im new at growing and i have a small aeroponic system that has 2 plants. 1 week into flowering 1 plant turns out to be male and 1 female. my resivoir is only a 4 litre tank so the roots are a intertangled together. how do i remove the male without killing my female ?

i had this same problem, you really cant, just cut the stalk off and then cut as much as u can without harming the other plant, then just make sure theyre getting lots of o2 to the roots bro, all u can do, they will turn brown though be sure of that
