Hydrogen Peroxide questions??

Hey everyone,

Today i changed out the water in a 5 Gallon Bucket ( added 3 Gallons of water and 9ml of H2o2), changed my tote and added 20 gallons of water & 3ml per Gallon of H2o2= 60ml. After i let the bucket and tote sit running for 30 minutes, i put the plants back in the bubblers. I came back 1 hour later and my plants are wilting, is this normal after H2o2 is too be added?

Yes i did adjust the ph to 5.8 in each.

i use H202 all the time, every res change and never had a problem......

Wow...weird that happened to you as well.


I added about 24 tsp. (3 tsp. per gallon) to my last rez change and my plants wilted big time about an hour or so later....I'm talking to the point of me freaking out and planning the funeral of my 6 plants.

I zipped up my tent and went out for dinner and figured my grow was over and I'd have cleaning up to do when I got home...


I came home and all 6 plants were perked up back to normal! Weird, very weird....like it was a strange shock to them.

All is well as of now (4 days later). Not sure if I'll use H2o2 again with this next rez change (Saturday, starting 2nd week of flower)

Hey there,

Went and checked on them today, they did perk back up, some leaves looked real dry, but i think that was from the over nutes from last week. I added H2o2 and fresh water PH'd at 5.8 yesterday. I think maybe the plants wilted because of the cold well water and possibly from the H2o2, but more so now on the cold water. I'm just flushing them now, then this weekend it's onto the first week of Flower. Well i hope that your grow goes great from here on out.

I've had high temps my whole grow, hovering around 90-91 during the day, but dropping nicely at night...funny thing is all the plants looked great UNTIL I added the H2o2, it almost looks like a fert burn or heat stress which is more likely, but it's weird it only started showing after I added the H2o2...

same thing happened with my last grow. it freaked me out sooo bad that I did a total flush because I thought the h202 was going to kill my plants.

lol same here it happened to me yesterday. I added a couple gallons of fresh water and they came back after a couple hours.
