hydrofarm raptor

hey everyone, was wondering if anyone here has tried the Raptor? I have been thinking about purchasing one, was wondering what the advantages were to it and was it worth it in the end. Also i was wondering does it cover more light area? is it equal to using more bulbs aka free light? and did you produce more yields then a standard reflector? very interested please let me know what you think?

I use them. you will definitly yield more. Id say I seen a 1/4 pound yield increase when i upgraded from the yield master reflector. it will truly cover a 4x4 area.

only thing i never liked about the xxl magnum and the raptor is how you have to take the glass out to clean it. you think by now they would have put a trap door so you can stick your hand in and clean it

it will be the best 180 dollars you ever invested

What type of bulb did you use 1000watt? and was you able to place the light closer to the plants?

i hear the glass is a pain to take off.

and if your not using hortilux just thro in the towel

yeah all 1k hps. and you can put the hood closer and get bad ass light to a whole 4x4 tray

if you have a 8 inch exhaust on that bitch you can drop it a foot off of them and still get a really gud light spread

the glass is the only down fall its stupid how you have to take the glass out to clean it. but they sell the dust shroom that will keep your lezes clean. I find myself cleaning the lenz 1 time a week
