Hydro Store Offered me a deal... Should I take it???

My local hydro store offered me a used 400 watt system complete with ballast, chord, hood, and bulb for $150. I will get to avoid shipping and start using it. Is it worth the price? Or should I just buy a few more CFLs. I currently have 3 original haze seedlings and 3 bagseed that I was growing. I have 2 CFLS yeidling 150 watts and 2 CFLS yielding 100 watts in a grow cabinet.

How much space are you working with?

How many plants?

What type of system is it?

How old is the system?

How old is the bulb how many hours?

What type of bulb?

In todays market you will get a better deal on ebay, I'm not knocking the hydro shops but some of there items are market up pretty high. I got my 600w dig hps/mh system with the hood, cord , dig bal, and a 600w hps bulb. I also have a one year warr on the bulb and I think a 2 year on the dig. bal. I paid 200 plus 40 for s/h

dude fuck that you can get a new one delivered to your house for the same price, HTGSUPLY.COM i got 2 lights form them and not compainin yet


but make sure you get one, fiddling with CFLS is not worth it unless you cant afford a better light or are in denial about what is the best light for growing marijuana

Looks like there are cheaper lights out there - so i'll add this caveat to my earlier advice - if it is a brand name with warrantee - buy it.

dont snooze thats a good deal, buy it from ur local hydro store.. less worry bout anyone knowing ur getting a grow light system u kno......
