what up guys had a Qs ive done a good amount of soil grows and looking into getting back in the grow scene first of all im thinking of doing a 5x10 50 sqft, using 5 600 watt lights would that be enough first of all? ,im looking to do about 80 plants of blue dream(My Favorite Strain)1 week veg if that, the type of medium i was gnna start em in rockwhool, then throw em into 1 gal pots MAYBE 2gal , using Hydroton so the Q is, can i use halos (going to make them outta drip line)and run the water 24/7 so itll be constantly watering them going back to the rez, or should i do a flood and drain using slabs?

if you plan to end up in hydroton I would not put them in rockwool besides a prop cube to start the cutting. If you put a big rockwool cube into clay pellets it will always be saturated. I would go straight hydroton with constant watering imo.

I've done rockwool cubes in hydroton many times and don't believe it matters or cause any problems, I would not let feeding 24/7, that would only drown your plants, best do a feed and drain, 2 to 3 times a day is sufficient, give your plant time to take up the nutes and rest between feeding, obviousely make sure your ph is 5.8 and keep track of your ppm's, that's most important with hydro.

thanx and yea it would drown em i thought it would kinda work like a bubbler cuz its the water just running thru along with plenty of oxygen put ive been thinking of just using slabs and flood and drain, would 4x a day ,10 min each be good or?
