Soil is certainly easier, I have several plants in soil and I only spend a few minutes with them each day. I have 3 plants in DWC and I spend hours in the room, checking pH and PPM, changing out the nutrient solution, topping up the reservoir, watching them grow, etc. On the other hand, my DWC plants have already grown TOO big with only 5 weeks in vegetative growth. I expect atleast 1lb. from the 3 of 'em. My soil plants have been vegetating for about 3 weeks and are maybe a 16" tall and pretty wimpy.
I expect maybe 2-3oz. per plant.

EDIT: I'll post pics in a few for comparison... :)
EDIT2: Uhh, quick question, anyone know how to 'resize' pics from a digital camera? I tried to upload a few and the connection 'timed out'... :(
