Hey, I am just germin my seeds today. When they pop i am going to use rock woll. Can any one help me out by posting pics of their home hydro Closet grows. I am using a 250 watt hps from start to finish. My questions are...

1). What Nutes are The Easiest on the Wallet?
2). What kind of system is the Easiest to Use For a beginer.
3). I want at Least 5 Fems. Is this realistic under my 250 hps?

All pics and input is welcome. I am excited about the hydro grow. My last was soil and was way TOO MESSY!!!! To much dirt for my closet. My closet is 2" x 4" so 8 square feet.

Thank you Fellow Stoners:peace:

Any one ever start with rockwoll. This seems like the best medium to me, or at least the easiest.

For a first time hydro grower I would suggest a DWC its cheap enough to build and if done right very low maint. Check the DIY section of this form to get details on how to build one. I have grown several DWC grows with great success . As far as Nutes go I use FloraNova Grower and Bloom , its not to hard on the wallet and does a great job , I also use a B-Seaweed boost and my grows come out nice and green . I would also add a couple CFLs for side lighting in your closet .

This was my first DWC grow , the strain is Monkey Paw

Yes it is but works great in dwc ( deep water cultivation )

Yea i kinda wanted rock woll. But you can use those hydrotons with a lil rock woll cube right? I wanted to start it in the little rockwoll cubes then place it in hydroton. any comment on this method???

I use Oasis cubes to start my seeds and my clones and I find that they keep more aerated that way and they dry out a little quicker which allows me more feedings, and by being more "damp then wet" I get a lot less mold than I usually would with rockwool. Hope that helps
