*Hydro Flushing one week or two*??????

That's its simple question,

8 week flowering cycle grow in hydro...''


Would you say flush just plain PH water at week 6 so two weeks of flush?


Or flush only for one week at week 7 ????

It's my first time of flushing so i want the experience guys of hydro to tell me what they do, thanks guys...''

I only flush for 5 days. And i start flushing when they are start to show amber trichs.

OK so i'm thinking maybe just a week given your reply, thanks any one else in hydro?

IF you flush for 2 weeks in hydro you are loosing out on some growth time and size. If you grow medium is inert you are flushed after just a few day. An active plant will use up the stored nutes pretty quick.

I always flush for a couple of weeks, but I was taught by a very anal grower. He won't even smoke bud that wasn't flushed for two weeks or more. He tells me there are certain strains that he actually flushes for 3 weeks. Once the buds are pretty much set, you usually don't lose much growth in those last two weeks to flushing, IMO. Of course, when I first started, I didn't flush at all. You can certainly tell the difference, lol.

i have flushed for as little as 3 days in hydro..3-5 iS ideal.
i use AN Final PhASE...But only after trics have reached my preference..

I agree with the notion that you're leaving some yield behind if you flush too early. If it's an 8 week strain, let it go eight weeks then flush for 3-5 days as stated earlier.

7-10 days is good. I don't think you need to go 14 days.

Thank guys for all replies it seems my two weeks is too long,

I think i will do just 5 days next just before the 8 weeks or like someone said above flush for a few days just after the 8 weeks, that way i suppose its a win win.

last two weeks they pack on the mass when I grow so you dont want to lose out I think you should cut down to 1 week max in hydro, 2 weeks is for soil
