Depends on your system, but for me, i would fill the buket with water, add the nutes as per the bottles instructions, ph, and put the lid and plant back in. Empty at the end of the week and repeat.

I use to empty them out every week tbh its a waste of nutrients get your self a ppm meter and fill bucket up with water and ph then if your flowering add nutes to bring ppm up to say 1200 and then the next day check ur ppm and if it has gone down so say a galon of water has gone and ppm is 1000 then u add back water and nutes to bring ppm up a lil bit say 1400 and the the next day teat and adjust again if ur ppm goes up it means your plant is only drinking water and not nutes so lower ppm to say 1000 you want to find the right level so the ppm stays around the same so it is drinking nutes and water at same ratio i have a massive bush in dwc flowering at the min and she has her ppm aroun 900 is her sweet spot

do not follow the bottle recipe ever, unless you have lots of experience with it. start at 1/4 strength and work up.dwc takes a lot less nutes because roots are constantly submerged.

All good advice. Try to keep notes of readings/dates etc, I found it a massive help getting keyed in. The free Herb software (here on riu somewhere) comes highly recommended as well..

This is geat advice. You can always increase for green but can not cut back to save burnt leaves and buds.

Use Reverse Osmosis water with some cal/mag if you can and let us know what nutes you are going with. A/N says not to feed until the second set of true leaves appear, I use No Shock at 2ml/gal until I see growth up top and plenty of roots hitting the water with my clones and then start at .3 -.5 ec with nutes. For the first few weeks you are trying to establish a good root mass and not so much upper growth and after that she should explode in growth and you can start slowly raising your ec each week. Remember for the first few weeks it doesnt need much food at all, just enough to feed a few leaves.

That is something you are going to have to figure out because it is strain specific for the most part. Start with 1/4 of whats recommended and slowly increase. Just start from there and worry about the rest as it comes.

You need a PPM meter and find the sweet spot where the plants drink as much nutes as they do water. You will know you're there when the water level is dropping but your PPM stays the same.
