I'm a little confused on the air flow. Are you exhausting conditioned air (cooled and/or dehumidified air) outdoors?

Yes, thats what im doing is exhausting the conditioned air. Im sure its not efficient at all but i want the free co2 from outside and would like to keep the aroma to a minimum. I close it off here an there if needed.
Im using 80's tech. Intake at the bottom of the room and the outake on the opposite side up top for heat.
If you circulate/exchange the air just within the house, you'll probably still get ambient (or higher) co2 levels, but not be exhausting the cold, conditioned air directly outside.
Maybe you don't need the ac running, just good air exchange with the rest of the building.

I cant exchange the air from the common area , its not feasible.
I wish i could get away without ac but i would be well over 100f if i did that. (2200w+dehumy in a 10x12x8 room with just a 12k window ac)
Could seal the room off if i wanted and it would stay in range but then i would never have fresh air.
1) How does anyone living in a region with winter air condition their grow room in the winter?
I mean if you don't have a split system with a heat pump / rated for low ambient (winter) temps, or if you use a window ac (actually installed through a window), by the way.
2) If you're using indoor air to cool the condenser/hot side, how are you supplying the air and where are you exhausting it? (I could see using it for heating the home, but you'd think you'd need a Tee and damper or something in case it gets too hot it could dump the excess outside).

We don't have that many -15 degree Celsius days here (which is the limit on my AC). And I got my room setup to use exhaust fans as needed. So if it's ever too cold I can just use the cold winter air to cool the room.
secondly you can build an enclosure around your condenser unit so it keeps the heat a little bit. And you can keep trucking on. This also works for window shakers.
Doesn't this fuck with your humidity and co2, when you do this?
You mean for a window unit / split unit condenser that is outside? Build a semi-box around it?
Anyway, I couldn't do this, as I can't even have the unit out the window at all. Haha.

Which I'd planned on. But if supply air to condenser is coming from outside, in the winter, it might be too cold.... ...?

Yes it will drop the humidty to 45ish but like that happens how many days a year? And I would just turn off the CO2 for a couple days. Not really an issue.
may basically semi enclose the back end. If you are drawing air in your house then pipe that to the intake. And pipe the hot stuff back out of the house unless it's winter.

I have a great old friend visiting.......in the business, his own, for decades.......after reading your post he felt that you are in over your head........he hoped your mother didn't find you dead on the floor......he thought you went DIY due to cost. He also said that 3 phase is commercial not residential ( unless your " running some monster piece of equipment like an 1100 hp lathe"). Not trying to get in the way, my experience/knowledge minimal.........just be safe.
