Hurricane

I have 2 grandsons that live in the Outer Banks of N.C.
They are choosing to stay until they are told to evacuate.

It may not hit them direct but it is sure to cause massive flooding.

I know they are stubborn, I can only hope they are not stupid and wait until it is too late.

I live in North Carolina in the middle of the state in a county that borders Virginia.
The local news has been building this hurricane up for a week.
I live 150 miles from the coast. I couldn't even get gas at my local store yesterday because they were out it's like that all over this area and don't even try to find any of the staples at the local grocery stores . They've been limiting the number of items you could purchase on things like milk , bread, ice, eggs and propane.
People are fighting over cases of bottled water ! The local media have worked people into a frenzy around here !

nothing dumber then fighting over water. You gotta be a fancy muthafucker to only drink bottled water during a hurricane. Hopefully we get lucky like puerto Rico and only lose 6 to 18 people.

It sounds like a nightmare I suppose it’s hard to warn people without spoiling them to much, I wish you luck finding what you need take care.

Thanks for the good wishes Granny weed.
We had everything we needed prior to the media's announcement of the projected path of Florence. Truth be told it looks like all we're going to get in my neck of the woods is a couple of inches of rain and some 20 mph winds !
Can't say the same for the folks on the coast !
