Hurricane is killing me no power

I've been without power for almost 24 hours. My girls are 5 weeks into flowering in a homemade airoponic system. I've been running the air and water pumps on a batteries 50% of the time to keep things wet without using all my power.

How many days do you think i'll be able to last without light? I've already missed a full 12 hour session.

I keep misting the plants trying to keep them hydrated because I can't run the strayers and air 24/7.

Word around here is 5 -> 7 days without power. might be an early harvest...

eh, they will be fine for a few days at least. Might shock them a little but I also agree with the other poster that if you aren't going to get power for quite a while you should put them outside. It's 12/12 pretty much everywhere in the country at this point right? Only problem will be keeping those roots wet in teh aero table. That's the reason I decided against it was someone pointed out that if you lose power for more than 12 hours your hosed unless you manually keep them alive.

To answer everyone at once.

1.) We're fine. We're in Ohio not Texas. We got 60+ MPH wind and no one is here to fix it.
2.) Every generator and power line crew was sent south to Texas.
3.) Its a custom built aero system which cannot be physically removed from the room its in. Trust me. This shit would smell up city blocks anyway :-)
4.) I still have power at work. I am charging batteries while I am here and swapping them when I am at home.

The air / water pumps are only running about 50% of the time, probably more like 25%. We've been without power since Sunday afternoon and still have no signs of repair.

If I can't make this generator happen, how many more days should I wait before harvest? Again we're at 5 weeks flowering.

I have a lead on a generator for this evening. Everyone is still alive, but they've missed two light cycles. Lets hope we can get some real power!

I got the generator fired up and i'm using batteries to power the pumps at "night". I think we'll be ok. Still no power and the planets arn't getting a full 12.

Anyone think it will be a problem if the planets only get like 8 ~ 10 hours of light instead of 12? Just for a few more days until the power company fixes the lines...

My power was out for 3 days, just sat them in window sill...but you are hydro, mine did fine, stretched a little bit, but nothing major. You CAN keep hydro alive manually for about a week im sure...but it is hard, and time consuming, the only thing I can say is good job for the effort, and hope everything works out.
