so ive got a crop in a pretty remote area, i have to walk a half mile in and a half mile out just to get there. today while there i discovered a trail cam (camera strapped to tree to photograph wildlife) that someone had set up recently, slightly out of the way of my grow. i left it alone, although i considered taking it. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?? what do you guys think a hunter would do if he saw weedplants, do hunters even recognize that kind of stuff? are there any hunters that have any input on this??

Do not steal that camera! Cannabis growers are not criminals, but thieves are.

Steal that camera and not only will you piss off some outdoors-man toting a high-powered, scoped weapon, but he will almost certainly notify the game warden who will narrow it down to either a guerrilla grower or a poacher.

Steal that camera and the warden will have a new project. If a game warden catches you trespassing and you are not a hunter, he will know exactly what you are doing. Hunters are very territorial and you will be prosecuted for trespassing. And like Mr. Therapy Man stated, most hunters do not smoke or grow. A hunter coming across a grow will almost certainly notify the property owner, and hunters deal with game wardens all the time so I would not be surprised if they reported it.

Do not let that camera get a picture of you. Walk behind it, Around the back of the tree if thats the way you need to go. Don't steal it, I hunt, And grow. If I was a hunter and you took my cam and I saw your garden? I'd wait the fuck out there for you and shoot you. And I wish I was kidding, But i'd seriously, Probably shoot you.. And there are alot of other people up in the country who would. Don't fuck with hunters, Cuz they'll fuck back. Just walk around it. Be quiet... Don't disturb the camera. It takes pictures at motion. OR DRESS UP AS A DEER!=]

That's a fact. Fuck with a hunter and every swinging dick at the deer camp will put away the dominoes and playing cards and stalk you, they are hunters after all. They will find your grow and wait.

If you are lucky they will only detain you until the law arrives.

If you are unlucky, well... have you ever seen Deliverance or Southern Comfort?

I would walk right out in front of the camera and un-zip and take a leak! No crime in that.

Then I'd come back the next day and take a shit!

If he's looking for a place to hunt, you just put this location off the map!

Peace

If that is not your land and the hunters own or lease it you better be very careful and think your next steps through. You are trespassing and they are now watching the land for the coming hunting season. They will review the tape and if your regularly thru the area via cam. your either going to be hunted or called the game warden on for potential poaching or if they even think your poaching game or growing? Dont steal anything or you will be hunted should you ever go back. If they find your trespassing for a grow weed smokers would watch the grow and/or camo up and catch you in the act with pistol/rifle in hand. Id suggest only one or 2 more trips to the grow for harvest if you can't avoid the cams. If your on my hunting land more then one time I would make note of your time/s days. stealing anything puts you in danger because most likely they have a few cams. and maybe you have already been photoged for any future need? Don't cause trouble is the best action.

i'm no hunter but i know plenty of them and they have access to dogs, dogs trained to trail, and trained to not bark and sneak... you should not even approach the thing.... if a good dog catches your trail he will follow that trail to wherever it leads, and that spot will be either your grow area or your car...

it sucks but at least your smart enough to ask questions and make your next move before you aren't making the next move because someone has made their move. If your stupid and make regular visits to the hunting lease your making for a dangerous situation. Hunters pay a lot for leases and don't take kindly to people on the lease they paid A LOT for no matter why your there much less a felony if enough plants. They would most likely laugh at the opportunity. A game warden would get front page county news with a grow bust of any size. Fall/winter is most active on hunting leases. Time to find a more unused new grow area. You could get arrested or shot or maybe your but pistol wiped but some hunters. My old hunting lease had the land owner and lease hunters all over it from Sept.- Feb. hunting seasons fyi.
