Humidity levels

So i should have it up around at least 70 for veg with lights on? Or you think around 65 is ok with lights on. Because when lights are out it will go up to around 73%

Like l said higher rh no powdery mildew. Dont see pm in greenhouses either. Still trying to wrap my head around it.
That seems totally opposite to everything I've read about it, and my personal experience. Here's what Quest says:

leaf temp difference generally be?
The optimal leaf temperature range for photosynthesis in many plants is between 15 °C and 30 °C (59 °F to 86 °F) for normal atmospheric concentrations of CO2. There are many exceptions; arctic- and alpine-adapted plants typically require cooler temperatures, while desert-adapted and plants using C4 photosynthesis prefer it warmer. (There are two slightly different chemical reactions for photosynthesis, called C3 and C4; the variant a plant uses is determined genetically.) CO2 supplementation will also generally raise the optimal photosynthesis temperature, so the ideal LST for photosynthesis is dependent on environmental conditions as well as the type of plant.

Right on! Have you personally followed this scedule. From the looks of this i am totally screwing it up. Thats part of what i need to learn. THE WHEN'S and WHY'S of the cycles. This will really help.
Unfortunately, I am on a budget & I do not have the correct
tools & equipment to follow the chart yet.
I downloaded the LumiGrow grow guide a few months ago,
it has the grow chart in it. @salmonetin posted the chart I posted,
not to long after I downloaded the guide.

I have the complete LumiGrow & a Fluence grow guide if you want?

Worry about successfully getting your plants to harvest without issues and THEN worry about maximizing your grow with VPD.
Fortunately i have put about $3500 into my 5x5. I am pretty much at the point where i don't need too many more things to control everything. The last big thing i need is the tripp lite air conditioner thingy. Then i can turn my lights back up. Pretty sure this planet of the grapes strain is a cold climate strain. Im gonna turn it way down to about 70 and add some humidity. Keep my leaves cool with a couple 12 inch oscillating fans and i rhink I'll be good to go.

Growing weed is like having kids. You can prepare all you want before they are born. But your still gonna spend a ton of extra money for their whole damn life

Not even similar. Growing weed is easy, raising kids is hard. Myself and many others don't spend a ton of money and grow all the weed we need. I think $3500 for a 5x5 is crazy. I spent around $300 on a 4x4, light, fan, and carbon filter. I've pulled 20 zips of killer bud when I was growing for weight. That's not much for some people but when you get 3 harvests a year it's more weed than I can consume in a few years which is why I give most away.

I need you to come teach me how to grow. You do flood and drain by chance? Gotta have this that and the other thing tonkeep my tent at the right temp and humidity level. Its in my bedroom

Ha ha

I did flood and drain years ago in a basement with multiple tables. I sure don't miss that. All the work.

I said $3500 seemed crazy but you might need more equipment than I do. I live in a pretty temperate climate and just grow in a 4x4 in the garage. I sometimes throw a heater in the tent when it's really cold and that's the extent of my environmental control. Right now my humidity is low at around 40 but I'm not going to do anything about it. I could buy a bunch of stuff to control it and keep it at the optimum range and maybe the final product would be better. But I don't sell anything and the weed turns out great anyhow so I'm fine with things. Plus I probably won't have to worry about bud rot.

If I had a large grow and was selling then of course I would worry about every aspect of the grow to maximize profits. But with just a small home grow with a few plants I don't really care about all the fine tuning to optimize everything. I throw the plants in the tent and give them water and nutrients. After that they're on their own. I'm at the point where I like growing but I want it as simple and inexpensive as possible. I grow weed so I don't have to buy it. If I spend a ton of money on equipment then that defeats the purpose of growing it myself.

I want the same thing i give to other peiple. And i want those other people to think. Damn! That guy can frickin grow. Wether i sell or not. I don't want to smoke so so weed either.

That's cool but after you grow weed for a few decades you won't care what anyone thinks and your will will be great not just so so. Guaranteed. :peace:

Fair. I grew some freaking awesome tomatoes 1 time. Never grew them before. They were outside though. In tied soil that had an old dog pen on it. I took 1 part mushroom compost to 2 parts topsoil and tilled it. Tomatoes peppers onions. Salsa. I pulled sucker leaves and pinched nodes. I had it growing on a 6 foot wire cattle panel. It grew over the top of it. Huge big boy tomatoes. And a shitload of cherry tomatoes. Other than that 1 time i had never grown anything.

I have 40 tomato plants I started from seed. They're not all for me but I always start bunch of stuff and give them to friends. Some of those friends are getting anxious because I didn't have room to get their cannabis plants started and am now running behind schedule.
