Humidity Help

2 things to fix what's going on here.

1 I came across from a member here, still waiting on his reply to a message I sent to see if he think itll fix what I have going in.

Second is a 70 or 100 pint dehuy, but I have to run it by the central air intake to keep the breaker from tripping. This should only be needed during long rain spells. My 30 pint is slowly doing the job, just not quick enough. But again as long as it's not raining out I wont need it.

My room gets more humid at night when it’s colder in the room. Raises up to ten percent.

Get a dehumidifier or at least put your can fan on a humidity controller. You can't flower like that, it will turn bad for sure.

I’ve flowered in everyday 60-70% humidity without mold issue. Wouldn’t do it if it can be avoided through

Aight so the homie in the ac mod thread told me what's up. Not gonna seal the unit, instead put the 5 to 6" reducers on each side of ac. Canfan goes on the exhaust side of ac to outside, intake of ac hooks to carbon filter. Sounds fucking genius. Gonna do it first thing tomorrow am. Will let ya know how it goes.

Where do you live? The rainforest? Sounds like you have the most epic RH battle in the history of human beings. It’s cause they’re in a bathroom. Get them out of there and stop the madness

Just finished up. Took longer than expected, of course my local store didnt have the 5 to 6in reducers. We will see shortly.

Mann no dice. And air is being pulled into the ac, so its not leaking, and I've set it up to drain and its pulling hella water outta the air.

So warm air holds more moisture than cold air, rest of the house is warmer than the bathroom. Warm air comes in, cools off rh goes up. Ac no longer taking moisture out of the air and warmer air still coming in explains the rh skyrocket.

Dont know if I'll need it when it's not as rainy, but ima pick up a 70 pint dehuy tomorrow and see if I can just lower the house humidity enough to keep the grow room sub 50%. I know running my 30 pint the grow room with the ac kept it about 50% with it raining outside, but it eventually tripped the breaker so I cant run it during lights on.

Unfortunately not. Ac is using the master bedroom circuit, rest of the grow uses the bathroom circuit. Ac set to 70 keeps the bathroom at like 64, grow room at 70 below canopy 82ish right under lights.

Yesterday house humidity was 55%. Has been raining for 3 days. If I'm not running the ac the flower room stays -5% roughly of whatever the house is, veg tent is usually 10-15% lower. When running the ac its higher than ambient house rh by 10% at least.

I'm gonna try a smaller ac I think. Buying it from Walmart so if it doesnt work i can return it. Gonna go with an 8k btu i think and see of that makes a difference. My cousin thinks the 14k btu ac is to big for a 250 sqft room, and after many calculations I believe it to be too. Only thing that is even close to making sense anymore.

So maybe the answer is actually just run the dehumidifer. Guess I can configure a way to put it on the living room circuit to keep it on 24/7.

Idk I'll try the smaller ac and see what happens. If not I'll find a way to put the dehuy on the living room circuit and prolly get a bigger one, mine is only 30 pints.
