Humidity for mushies??

Hey guys my spore prints just arrived today to my surprise so now I've got to start building my little grow box for them.

I just wanted to no how everyone keeps the humidity up?? I'm a bit tight for coin ATM so I can't really go out and order a humidifier, at first I though I could just spray mist the box with a hand sprayer and use a heat pad underneath, would this work or would the heat kill the shrooms??
 
You can build a shotgun terrarium buy drilling 1/4 inch holes 2 inches apart on all 6 sides of a clear rubbermaid. Fill with 5 inches of perlite after rinsing the perlite and draining excess water off. Mist 3 times a day and fan 5 times a day. Just use a fine mist spray bottle.
 
Don't use a heating pad. Use up to 5 inches of wet perilite at bottom of terrium and mist/fan a few times a days.
 
Use the lid and air out the tub good. This provides fresh air exchange which helps trigger pins and keep contaminations low.

Oh sounds simple haha cheers, and does the perlite need to be kept permanently wet? If so, than do I replace the perlite web it dries out or just soak the same batch first used??
 
Yes keep it wet while you are fruiting. It is hard for contaminations to grow in the perilite. I rinse mine out between each flush, and pressure cooker perilite before putting new cakes in.
 
If you wmake a proper shotgun, and fill it with the proper amount of perlite, there is no reason to open it up for spraying (contaminating).

Hey man this is the first I've heard of this "shotgun" thing, if u can be bothered could u explain how to set it up and grow successfully wiyh it?? Or if it's to much could u provide a link or something where I can read up on it?

Take a syring of sterile h2o, a shotglass, and your print.

Put in glove box and gently scrape of a small portion of the spore print into the shotglass, with the tip of the sterile needle, expell the syringe into the shotglass, then draw it up.

Done.

Sorry i appreciate the help i really do but i no how to make the spore syringe already i just need to no the amounts. So wat i really need to no is one spore print sufficiant for 5 half pint jars? Using 1/5 of the print for each jar would it be enough?? Thanx for the help:)

every print is different, only 1cc of spore solution per jar. 1 print should make many syringes.
 
There r millons of spore in a print all it take two that bond together ,as for the cc u can do a half cc or 1 and a half ,deppending on the size of the print i will make one or two syriges out of it but fot the most part i just use the dam thing ,now on an lc i use 1 -2 cc per jar but i dont do the pf tex either i do a bulk tex i invented
