Im at a crisis. Temp in room is 83 degrees. Humidity is at 73. I just put in my new 400whps/400wmh combo yesterday and checked my.temps and humidity witch i havent done in a while and bam way to high. I tried looking up some old threads but im really lost. What is my best cheap fix just to finish this one off. I ended up spending way more then i thought for my setup so far. I have a cool tube cooled with 4 in fan. And a 4 in fan for exhust through carbon filter also. Any help would be apreciated cause this sucks being my first grow and so well so far

Craigslist a dehumidifier. 4" fan is small for your grow. How large is you intake air? 3 weeks along is fine. They probably done stretching. Try and gently arrange them for support, maximum light and air flow. Can you move it to a cooler room?

good, so go get your ac and dehuey now instead of then
I can pull off the dehuy i think and add another fan from other direction possibly. You.think that could hold me over. Also do you.think a 40. $one off amazon would be enough

Have u got a window near by u can open allowing more airflow into the room or can u leave to tent door open while lights are on to help with heat issue this would then lower humidity .. remember humidity is higher at lights off. Have you got any oscillator fans in there .

Got one fan its on basement no windows sealed off under the staircase. I think the real problem is the humidity is like 73 in basement also. I found a dehuy on anazon for 40 bucks says its good for small bathroom. Do you think that might work?

Greetings. rH in my basement has been up last week or so here as well. Like +20%. I personally welcome it.

Open basement Windows?

Exchange/Vent air out of basement with extra ducting and fan?

Rid X?

Re tool grow setup to bypass( one side of hood no ducting or into carbon filter,)sucking environment out of the space?

Sheet load of those little keep dry things in medicine bottles?

:-)

Make sure the dehuey u get has the ability to drain through a hose into a drain or a large enough bucket. I have one that's a few gallons and I empty it twice a day.
My girls just started flower.
Also, it doesn't have to go in the room, you just have to lower the rh of the incoming air.

it wont hurt. and recall a dehuey produces heat. An ac unit will dehumidify while it cools..

that will make your space warm in a few minutes. budman111 is right, those little ones are ok for a small cupboard space but not so much in a garden. trust me when I say just do it right the first time for best results. we all took short cuts but looking back now relize how much easier and maybe cheaper it would be to just get it done right the first time. growing good weed isnt cheap, keep that in mind.

The rh is 48 outside of room i just tested. So i think i might be able to kill 2 birds with 1 stone and buy a new 8 in fan with filter and call it a day what do you.think?

Ok so i ordered a 6 in 240 cfm fan. The temp outside of room is apropriate for the plants so by circulating more.aor i should in return see a drop of both temp and.humidity correct?

That will definatly help but the best it will do is what the rh is outside the garden. 50 is much better but still a bit high for my liking in flower. I would invest in a basement dehumidifier. As a bonus you can harvest the distilled water it produces for your plants
