I was thinking the exact same thing, these are two different companies. I use Humboldt Nutrients Organic Line for soil and master A & B for hydro. I've had good results with both.
I am going to do the Humboldt Nutrients Drain To Waste Soilless recipe with the Master A&B, as soon as I run out of my nutes after this grow. I was thinking of doing their Organic recipe(and who knows, I might change my mind by then and go with the Organic recipe), but as of right now th A&B seems to be what I'm going with. I currently use Dutch Master Gold and a heck load of Goodies. Too much to list on someone else's thread, but u can check it out here------->Click on me I'm using my hydro stuff in soil/soilless right now. I've got some pics of my grow on that link also. :peace:♥

Ok so I myself just picked up some purple maxx and gravity... planning on getting some BM too.

Not ready to start flowering yet but Im curiuos how you use these 3 in conjunction together? Or do you use them at seperate watering intervals, or just throw them all together? Also does the receipt/procedure change if I dont end up using bushmasters?

pic 1 plant with purple maxx foliar fed once a week.

pic 2 plant w/o pirple maxx

both plants are the same strain grown from seed.
So you just did foliar feeding once a week? Did you use any via waterings, or foliar only? And at what time during flower did you start and for how long?

got any pointers......im finding not very many using it yet
i have Humboldt site memorized:bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:
Humboldt really pushes the innoculants, in order for you to get the most out of their
products they say you need to have an abundant colony of mycorrhizae, trichoderma,
living bacteria, and plenty of enzymes. All of this in your soil will ensure fast digestion
and a fully satisfied metabolism.

i just got the Master A&B lineup myself as well. I also included everything necessary for their foliar application as well. I'm excited about the switch!! I've been using FF and some additives from AN and think this will be all that's necessary!!

Im on my first grow and like you my hydro store guy talked me into getting humboldt. I have the three step one with the ginormous bud additive. Im three weeks into my grow and things seem great. Then again theyre the only nutes i've ever tried. lol Theres some pics from when they were two weeks.

I just picked up the master A&B because of good things people I know personally have said, and info I read. I was wondering if I run a dwc cloner what should i run my ppm at to start? I was reading that around 200 would be good and bump it up the bigger they get until transfer. Would that be a good start? Plus should i just use A&B or A&B plus the other nutes on the feeding chart?

im using Master A & B...theyre awesome, my plants dont even look the same after feeding yesterday...HR has an amazing tech support line as well if you ever have any questions...thats where a guy accidently revealed that theyre owned by Advanced Nutrients on the DL
totally false

HN is a small independent company here in humboldt county ca.

Advanced nutrients is a very large company from vancouver canada.

There is no relation they are direct competitors.

HN doesnt have a tech support line at all lol so I know youre not even talking about the same company.

You can leave us a message on our office phone and our office manager will likely call you back but we dont have like an operator. This is a very small company.

Im bothering to post this because for some weird reason there are a few rumors that hn is owned by AN for some reason and I just want to put it out there that its false

It's all we use. It's a bit higher priced but you can't argue with results. My VERY 1st GROW...3 White Russians. They each yielded 3 oz, 5 oz...and 6 oz! Maybe I have a green thumb, but I credit it to Humboldt Nutrients. It's not hard either....I grow Hydro.

I like Deuce Deuce (similar to Gravity), great hardener and their Big Up powder (similar to MOAB and Bud Blaster) great PK stack. Pretty much all their stuff is interchangeable with any other nute lineup, most companies are. You just gota find the best bang for your buck and something that works for you.
